My Questions??????

Why does Gatsby seem so fictional to the people he meets?
Does Gatsby still love Daisy? Why?
From what we have read, is Tom is a violent man right?
Why did Tom get Daisy the Pearls?
Why was Daisy having second thoughts about marrying Tom with a man she hadn't seen in 4 years?

Can You Recover From a Bad First Impression? Yes? No? Maybe?

Can you recover from a bad first impression, which is the question? My answer is you can. Actually I take that back, you cannot recover from a bad first impression. Well wait, you can recover but depending on the situation. Many people believe that the first impression is the most important one, which is sort of true.

Most people wouldn't want to give a bad first impression to who could potentially be their future girlfriend/boyfriend, in-laws, employer, or even a random stranger who could end up being their friend someday.
A great example of all this can be your average teenage boy who is at his new girlfriends house getting the "fatherly interview" from her father. I can guarantee it though if the boy was sagging his pants and spoke in such broken English and who didn't care to ever talk politely to the father, well then that's just giving off a bad vibe in the first place. No father would even want his daughter to be dating such a loser.
So back to the question at hand, can you recover from a bad first impression? Like I have said before, it depends on the situation and how you handled it in the first place before you go and change it.

Looks Of The Book Or The Pages That Are Being Read In It?📖

Most people would judge a book by its cover. I'm one to say this but I'm also one to do it. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I look at people and judge them by what they are wearing or how they act.
This is terrible for me to say but at one point in my life, I was scared of a girl who is now my best friend. I remember seeing her at school and she always looked like she hated me. I always kept my mouth shut about her though because I didn't want her to hate me more than I already thought she did. I soon realized though that she didn't hate me, it was just her being herself. And look at us now, we are on the same basketball team and she's like my sister.
A lot of us now a days only care about how we look, not about personalities. Take dating for example, girls and guys basically first care if the person they are potentially gonna date is good looking but it shouldn't be that way. What all of us value though is only of importance to us and really nobody else.
Now if you put a six foot tall, brunet, cute boy into the picture, heck I wouldn't hesitate to date him if he asked. I'm starting to realize though that looks shouldn't matter because the person who looks like the person you should trust, sometimes really isn't. Take it from me.
